Today I wanted to share a layout with you. This is a self layout – not one that I do very often but something important to have in your scrapbook. My scrapbooks are for my kids and family to look back at later. We even look back at them right after I finish making them because right now I’m mixing current photos and older photos when I order prints so my layouts are from a range of time spanning about 10 years!
Anyways, I digress… This layout is about me. Lisa’s challenge on your YouTube channel for hitting 1000 subbies promoted me to seek out a photo of just me and scrap it. This photo is of when we went to the NC State Fair. This is an annual event for us. We always go as a family and are usually joined by some extended family. This particular photo was from October 2011.
The Fair is one of my absolute favorite things to go to and my husband and boys totally support me in it and always attend with me.
For this layout I primarily used the Studio Calico scrapbook main kit from August. It is self-titled and features other names I’m known by. The journaling tucked in the vellum pocket explains it a bit more and lists a few more names I proudly hold.
Here is a video where I explain it a bit and share it for Lisa’s challenge: http://youtu.be/wH4EArEImf0
Here are a few still shots.
Lastly, here is my supply list:
- SC August main kit
- AC Thickers for Crate Paper – Lullaby flocked letter stickers in pink
- Jillibean Soup Alphabeans in whipped white
- Studio G – grey
- Freckled Fawn washi tape
Thanks for joining me!
